What could be more exciting than birds of prey at a birthday party?!
Join TWO Bird Experiences down at the HAWK HANGAR to get up close and personal to Echo the falcon and his feathered friends. With a glove on hand, the birthday child can hold one of the team, or the whole party can join in with a VIP party experience in the flying arena.
QUICK FLY BY ENCOUNTER, 15 minutes
With so much to so at the Farm, especially if you are already mid way through a Finkley Party (see details below), a quick fly by encounter may be the perfect way to add a special moment onto an already very exciting birthday day out.
Includes:
- Meet and greet talk for the whole party with one of the falconers and a member of the bird team
- Opportunity for the birthday child to hold the bird and take photos
- Birthday card from the birds

VIP EXPERIENCE, 30 mins
On our party experiences the birthday child, and all of their friends, will get up close and personal to one of our beautiful birds of prey in a private, VIP flying demo in the Finkley event arena. Once everyone has learnt a thing or two about how these amazing predators survive in the wild, we will then invite the birthday child to step into the shoes of the falconer, and out into the arena, to take part in the demo.
With their friends cheering them on, the birthday child will experience the silence of the owl or the ‘killy killy’ cry of the kestrel up close, as one of our beautiful birds sails up to their glove.
There will be plenty of opportunities to pose for the camera and, at the end, the birthday child will get a little something from their new feathered friend to take home. A special moment and an unforgettable birthday memory for everyone involved!

- Private, commentated VIP demo for whole party- start time 2.30pm
- Flying and handling opportunity for birthday child
- Card and present for birthday child from the birds

Please note:
- Children must be a minimum of 6 years old to handle birds.
- Maximum of 6 birthday children can handle per experience.
- Available 7 days a week, March to October
- Can be booked as:
1) an add on to a pre-booked Finkley Birthday party (see details at bottom of page. Please double check our availability before booking in a party date to avoid disappointment- we can only run one birthday party each day).

From invitations and party bags, to bunnies and birds, Finkley has everything to create a birthday to remember!
Party packages are £28.99 per child and include:
- Pre-designed party invitations
- All-day entrance to the farm
- FREE admission for one adult for every child place booked (additional adults can be pre-booked for £12)
- Animal feed
- Homemade pizza, chips and vegetable sticks with hummus, plus unlimited Fruit Squash and ice cream for pudding! (allergen alternatives available upon request).
- An animal mask for each child
- A party bag of goodies for each child
- Party areas available from 10am until 1pm with food served at 12pm; or 2pm until 5pm with food served at 4pm
And of course the birds of prey will be there all day to wish you a very happy birthday!
