OUTDOOR SHOWS- Static Display
Includes marquees, team of tethered raptors/owls on the glove, education stand with animal artefacts, signs and games plus wildlife/nature themed shop.
1 ADD ON: Animal Arts and Crafts
This is a great way to get the public involved with the birds all day long. Our most popular activities this year were building owl nests, and designing and racing kestrel darts.
2 ADD ON: Talk
We can put on a scheduled talk/s by the stand to add extra interest to the day. This can be to highlight particular members of the bird team or be on a topic of your choice- recent choices have been ‘Historical Falconry’, ‘Native Owls’ and ‘Are Red Kites affecting the Ecosystem?’
3 ADD ON: Raptor Runway
A raptor runway typically works for smaller arena spaces or indoor show spaces. 1-2 of our falconers will bring out a selection of the bird team and walk them around the outside of the arena for visitors to see up close/ take pictures while another falconer provides key information and fun facts about each species via a microphone.
4 ADD ON: Flying Display
For our flying display we like to showcase the stages of training from a birds arrival to free flight- this may involve some audience participation! We do ask that the flying area is fenced off in some way. A commentated display typically lasts around 30 minutes.
5 ADD ON: Falconry Skill Drill
Rather than watch us fly the birds, this interactive session allows the public to step into the arena and into the shoes of the falconers. They will get the opportunity to learn key skills such as ‘the falconers knot’ or ‘how to swing a lure’. This activity can be run multiple times a day or can be run at a different time to a falconry display or talk to provide variety to an event schedule.

NOTES ON ABOVE
Bird welfare will always be our top priority and we will always ensure the bird team is not overworked. Birds can partake in 2 activities a day, but fly only once.
Therefore, activities above can be mixed and matched so long as the rules above are followed.
- Example 1- An event could book 1 talk and 1 raptor runway (2 events total)
- Example 2- An event could book a flying display and 1 falconry skill drill (2 events total)
- Example 3- An event could book animal arts and crafts, plus a flying display (1 event total)
Other Events
The birds can also join you at indoor events. Our birds have been on the guest list for all manner of occasions from shock proposals and steam punk weddings; to Armed Forces days and passing out ceremonies; Harry Potter house naming ceremonies and Winter balls; and even training demonstrations for Royal families!
We thrive on sharing our passion for the birds and love any opportunity to be creative and give an event a personal touch- whether that be a gift, a themed commentary, specially made bird equipment to match wedding colours or, in the case of the falconers, ‘suiting up’ to match the occasion!
Raptor Reception
Our falconers, along with two members of the bird team, will greet guests as they arrive at the venue.

Add on Photobooth backdrop
