We are very excited to announce that TWO Bird Experiences & Education Ltd are now supporting the amazing work of Project Lugger.
Over the last 40 years the Lugger falcon has experienced a serious decline due to a whole host of reasons spanning from human persecution and a decline in key prey species to the illegal trapping for use in falconry and as bait to capture larger, more powerful falcons.
Project Lugger was established to counteract this decline and reintroduce and repopulate these beautiful falcons in their natural habitat. A combination of education and successful breeding projects are already having an effect- but there is still a long way to go!
