Please note we are not currently taking bookings for our half day experiences.
On your chosen day one our falconers will meet you outside ‘Café at the farm’ at 10am for a brief introduction of how the day will run: the dos, the don’ts, and the whys and the wherefores, before getting straight into flying the birds. Throughout your experience you will see how different birds move and learn how each one is unique.
You will get an insight into how the other animals contribute to the working farm and community project. Depending on the time of year this may involve meeting the donkeys, giving some enrichment to the guinea fowl or getting a first look at the Easter chicks!
There will be time to sit and reflect on the first part of your day with tea and coffee in the café, where we will bring in some of the falconry and bird artefacts we have collected over the years, before taking to the meadows for a hawk walk to finish!
Bring along a friend to capture the moments and don’t forget your wellies or your questions- the day will be over quicker than a wingbeat!
Have a look at our Meet the Birds page here to see who you may be flying!
